Post eight!

I started this semester so nervous. I quickly realized my das advantage of lacking teaching experience in this field. However, now that the semester is finishing up I really feel like I notice the progression of my knowledge in instructional design. I remember the first time this came to me was when I was taking a face to face instructional class for my M1 license and our instructors would call us each by our first name. It is not a huge deal, but I remember making the connection to the class reading on how a conversational and personal approach can yield better results. I definitely do not feel like the ID padawan I felt like the first few weeks of the class.

A combination of the intro to ID class and the others I took this semester gave me a good preview of the field and motivated me to keep working through this program after considering moving over to the instructional technology leadership program.  Although a long way from the finish line the small victory of completing the first semester is still a satisfactory one.
